Narmada Education & Scientific Research Society, a Trust known as NEST having its registered office at GNFC Ltd., Bharuch, was founded in 1985 at the initiative of Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers Co. Ltd.

The Trust is registered under the Societies Act and Public Trust Registration. The registration No. is Guj. /143, F / 133.

The first English medium college in BHARUCH district was established in 1985 with science and commerce streams at its campus located at Zadeshwar road, Bharuch.

Govt. recognized Part Time (evening) One Year PG Diploma courses (SF) are conducted as a center of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan – Mumbai to offer six courses viz. (1) Business Mgmt. (2) Mktg. & sale Mgmt., (3) Financial Mgmt., (4) Industrial Relations & Pers. Mgmt., (5) Materials Mgmt., & (6) EDP & Computer Mgmt.

•  All round development of students, leading to best placement and highest employability, through guest lectures, Industry-Institution-Interface, projects, summer placements and the like.

•  Full-fledged teaching and non-teaching staff at all the colleges, well laid out campus, and very good infrastructure facilities including Libraries.

•  Placement: There is 100 % placement of our final year MBA students & 85 % for MCA students. Mr. Pratik Joshi selected at Wipro-TCS for package of Rs. 2.4 lacs

•  Result: For 2005-06 NCCA & NCM result was 100 % & 99 % respectively. Under university top-10, 3 students were from NCCA & 1 from NM in same year
